Modern Midwestern food in the heart of White Bear Lake

Brickhouse Food & Drink is a family-owned restaurant in downtown White Bear Lake. Our menu is filled with crave-worthy versions of your favorite comfort foods. Everything we serve is handcrafted with high-quality ingredients or sourced locally. We pride ourselves on supporting Minnesota businesses whenever possible.

Our historic space was originally built in 1886 and served as a meat market. Over the past 134 years, the building has also housed a drug store, clothing store, apartments, and other restaurants. It took us almost two years to convert all three floors into one restaurant. The finished product is a beautiful, modern space that invites our customers to relax and enjoy our hand-crafted food and drinks.

Our Chef

Executive Chef Peter Christenson also serves as the Executive Chef of Dellwood Country Club, where he met the owners and where the idea for Brickhouse was born. Peter’s grandparents lived in White Bear Lake, and he spent many summers here as a child. His modern Midwestern menu brings new life to classic dishes. The result is delicious comfort food that is anything but boring.
